I picked up a camera in high school and never looked back. What began as producing goofy class assignments led to scouting reels for athletes and band performers.
Once at Harding University, I directed and produced the live multi-cam broadcasts of Harding Bison football and soccer games, and helped launch the “HU 5 Minute Film Fest.”
After graduation, I spent 10 years working in journalism, first at WAND Media 17 in Decatur, IL, then WISH-TV 8 in Indianapolis, IN. I learned to allow my surroundings to tell the story — to not just see what was happening, but ask why it was happening. Any given day, I could go from interviewing politicians and CEO’s to chasing storms and active crime scenes. I captured a lot of important moments in recent history, such as the Indiana RFRA fallout, the 2016 presidential election and the Noblesville School Shooting. Through my lens, I witnessed uncountable developments in sports, like the Indy 500, Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers.
A few months before the pandemic (phew), I moved back to studio producing, this time for Eli Lilly. As a member of the Lilly Media Lab, I helped executives reach and train their employees with important video updates and podcast messaging during Covid-19.
I’d love to help tell your story.
